One of the greatest comedy moments... There is no show like this. It's all unscripted and improvised. Even if you were a good script writer there is no possible way to have that done. It's a pure one off magical comedy gold moment...

I helped landscape "Northala Fields" the large hill from the first challenge. Apparently most of the materials came from the old Wembley Stadium. We took about 500 good bricks and built a small a wall in "somewhere" Norfolk. locals call it the Wembley wall.

Funniest fact about this series is Jon Richardson is still bitter about a TV Game Show that happened nearly 10 years ago that he still refuses to be interviewed about it. His wife confirmed this on the Taskmaster podcast after she appeared on season 16. Let it go man.

The mounds they climbed up with the balls, were man made using the rubble left over from the demolished wembley stadium.

Joe's potato throw is genuinely one of the most dramatic pieces of TV in a very long time, and it's on a silly comedy show.

i’m late to watching this video but milky actually survives, there’s TV shows set after this is england movie and it’s less Race motivated more of just enjoying life growing up and that with kids, music festivals and also showing uk culture with the Mod drivers.

BBC shows doing stage versions is fairly common as is stage versions for anniversary or charity events. We do the same in the US but due to our size many people never hear them. Many BBC shows have audio episodes as well, the extreme of which can be seen with the Whoniverse aka the Dr Who universe. With these guys most of their shows started as stage comedy club skits to begin with.

I see you use words like absurd and ridiculous to describe Chris Morris projects and silly here. Have you gotten into Rick Mayhall and Adrian Edmonston shows at all? The Young Ones is fairly well known in the US and very entertaining and the show Bottom is a favorite in the UK. As you watch Black Adder you will also see a lot of people from The Young Ones playing roles in it Like Lord Flashheart and the Scarlet Pimpernel characters. If you ever get a chance to learn about the behind the scenes for those 2 shows it is very entertaining as well. It is a story about a bunch of kids with no experience and few connections who get the chance to make a show for content on the new channel starting and end up being epicenter to the "new wave" of UK comedy.

You mentioned the show being canceled, it was so canceled season 2 has only a single episode.

You would be surprised how many people weren't in on the joke. Most of his interveiws are with people completely unaware. There has been countless politicians, public figures, and media celebrities who made complaints or sought media bans on him because they said or repeated something stupid on the show. The Brass Eye special at the end of the series led to more complaints to the authorities and broadcasters and more negative media coverage than anything aired in that countries history. It also led to temporary black listings and reprimands of a few of the cast. David Amess MP from the drugs episode wanted to ruin Chris over his appearance on the drugs episode which led him to try and have yellow dye made illegal as a psychoactive chemical based off a comically large pill from a nonexistent country.

The main guy in this Chris Morris had a role on the IT crowd as the managing director. A number of people from that show appear in Brass Eye such as Simon Pegg appearing at the end of the Paedogeddon special episode.

What we are seeing is people trying to appear busy and productive when they serve no actual useful purpose. This explains why those two hired David as a motivational speaker. They had to hire someone but they have no idea what they are doing.

Years after I saw it for the first time... this still sticks with me. I have no idea how "IT'S A SNUFF FILM!" didn't become the next "IT'S A COOKBOOK!", however. It has all the makings of an iconic anthology twist up there with "The Hitchhiker" (Twilight Zone) and "Showdown" (Tales from the Crypt).
